| Pay Scale | Pre-revised Pay Scale- Rs. 15600 – 39100 plus Grade Pay of Rs. 6600 in PB – 3. Revised Pay as per 7th CPC Level-11 (Rs. 67700-208700) in the Pay Matrix. Total emoluments excluding T.A. and HRA at the time of initial appointment will be Rs.67700/- plus DA plus Special Incentive Allowance @ 20 per cent of Basic Pay p.m. |
| Age | Not exceeding 40 years for General Category candidates as on normal closing date. | Essential Qualificaiton (s) | A. EDUCATIONAL Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent* * Note- Equivalent degree is LLB. OR Master’s Degree in law from a recognized University or equivalent* * Note - Equivalent degree is LLM. B. EXPERIENCE For LLB degree Holders- Three years experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws. For LLM degree Holders- One year experience at bar dealing with criminal laws or fiscal laws. Notes-1 Qualifications are relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates otherwise well qualified. Note-2 The qualification(s) regarding experience is relaxable at the discretion of the Union Public Service Commission in the case of candidates belonging to Schedule Caste if at any stage of selection the Union Public Service Commission is of the opinion that sufficient number of candidates from these communities possessing the requisite experience are not likely to be available to fill up the vacancy reserved for them. |
