Academic qualifications
(A) Essential
Qualification-
Bachelor of Arts degree (with English
literature or Hindi Literature as one of the subjects) or
Bachelor of Science degree or Bachelor of Commerce
degree with a minimum fifty percent marks from a University
established by law in India or a qualification recognised by
the Government as equivalent thereto, and, three years
Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum fifty percent marks
from a University established by a law in India .
Or
Five
years Bachelor of Laws degree with a minimum fifty percent
marks from a University established by a law in India.
(B) Preferential qualification
A candidate Who:
(i) has
served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two
years, Or
(ii) has obtained a "B" certificate of National
Cadet Corps, or
(iii) possesses Post-graduate degree in
Law from a University established by law in India, shall,
other things being equal, be given preference in the matter
of direct recruitment.
