Qualification: 
Essential Qualifications -
(A) Academic: 
(a) Bachelor's Degree in law, 
(b) Good working Knowledge of Hindi in Dev Nagri script.

(B) Experience- 
At least 05 years experience in a responsible post involving Personnel Management, Industrial and Labour relations, in a public or private sector undertaking of repute. 

Preferential Qualification- (a) Master's Degree in Sociology. (b) Post Graduate Degree in Subject of Industrial and Labour relations. (c) Diploma in Business Administration or Diploma in Industrial Administration. (d) Practice before Industrial or Labour Tribunal. (e) Training at Sir Dorab Tata School of Sociology, Bombay or any training or course in Social Science recognised by the Govt. for the purpose or Labour Officers training at Kashi Vidyapith. A candidate who has- (i) Served in the Territorial Army for a minimum period of two years. Or (ii) Obtained a 'B' certificate of National Cadet Corps, shall, other things being equal, be given preference in the matter of direct recruitment.
